The Bitter-Sweet Taste of Success

"Deep down, we don't like the highly paid women; when women make money, it's seen as disruptive." -- Huang Hung, Newsweek.

Times changed, caveman envolved to man of today, technology infiltrated our lives like never before. Why is it that we still can't change our initial beliefs? Humans are smart, interactive mammals, so why is it men refuse to acknowledge the fact that women can and will be stronger than them?

Men are intimidated by successful women, why?

Because deep down, way deep down, a man still holds the belief that a woman must be weaker than he is. I always feel that this is a really sad case. Forgive me for my informal use of English, but this is truly what I feel. I am repulsed by guys who strive to prove that they are stronger than girls. They look down on girls, shake their head and say, "(sigh) You can't do it."

Some can't, true, but there's always somebody who can. Don't let nobody tell you what you can't do. I've been put down many times, and I am acquainted with the feeling of dismay and despair. Uncertainty hovers over me like an ominous cloud and it holds me back worse than leashes on my neck.

But I'm waiting for the moment when uncertainty loosens her restriction on me and I can seize that opportunity to burst free.
