I just got into a fight with my sister.
Things were going great: We had an enjoyable dinner at Pizza Hut (despite the terrible service) and a mini singing session in the car on the way home. Boy was I in a great mood. I wanted to sing and dance all night.
Next comes the fact that I was going to use the computer (with the big screen on TV) to play some MVs and sing-along, when my dad interrupted me to use Skype to call Mom in Taiwan. That, I could handle, no problem.
After the call, I reclaimed my leash of the computer. Unfortunately, my sister was already there, hogging the keyboard and busy typing responses to the tags on her blog. By then I was getting just a little bit annoyed.
"I want to use the computer. Shouldn't you be studying?" I obviously said that.
"I want to use the computer." My sister raised her voice to a threatening note.
"Who do you think you are?"
"Your sister."
"So what makes you think you can use that tone on me?"
"So I can."
Neither of us were willing to give up, so we argued, and that brought our father out to the living room to judicate the matter. I was seeing red.
Upon contemplation, now sitting in my room, typing this post, the whole thing was rather childish. Even the words exchanged were childish. They weren't worth fighting over. Blame it on my pride-filled ego. My own sister talking to me like she owned the computer? Get real. I wasn't going to take that sitting down. Sorry, I'm still a kid.
Too bad.
